In an accident happened at Fremont, three people were killed and five others were injured, including an infant who was critically injured, in a multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 880 in Fremont late Tuesday night, authorities said. Due to which the Interstate 880 was shut down.
The collision happened about 9:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes near Stevenson Boulevard.
It was reported that a headless,a swooping driver forgone the crash, said California Highway Patrol Officer Manuel Leal, adding that the same person is suspected of causing the collision. The driver was arrested on charge of suspicion of driving under the influence of marijuana drug.
Three people including a juvenile was declared dead onspot. Five others people were rushed to hospitals with one infant critically injured.
